Role Objective:

As the Finance Manager, your primary mission will be to oversee the financial health and strategy of our operations, ensuring that GaiaLabs and our startup portfolio are financially positioned for success, now and in the future.

1. Budgeting & Financial Planning:

   - Develop and manage annual and multi-year budgets that are aligned with GaiaLabs' strategic objectives.

   - Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on the financial performance against these budgets.

2. Accounting & Reporting:

   - Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with international financial standards.

   - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.

3. Capital Allocation & Management:

   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine capital requirements for various initiatives.

   - Ensure efficient allocation and management of funds to maximize returns.

4. Financial Forecasting:

   - Use historical data, market trends, and economic indicators to predict future financial outcomes.

   - Identify potential financial risks and opportunities for GaiaLabs and its portfolio of startups.

   - Lead valuation exercises for startups and potential investment opportunities, ensuring a rigorous and fair assessment.
